1. Acceptance of these terms

By downloading, installing, or using FarmVerse (the "App"), or by using this website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the App or this website. If you're using FarmVerse on behalf of a child, you're confirming you have the authority to agree to these terms on their behalf.

2. What FarmVerse is

FarmVerse is a free, offline-first educational farming game. You choose a country, grow real fruits and vegetables, and progress through gameplay stages. FarmVerse does not require an account, does not currently sell in-app purchases, and is designed to be free of violence and predatory monetization. Some future version of the App may display advertising (see our Privacy Policy for how that would work).

3. License to use the App

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use FarmVerse on devices you own or control, solely for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, redistribute, or create derivative works from the App except as permitted by applicable law.

4. Your conduct

When using the Nearby local-multiplayer feature or any community channels linked from this site, you agree not to:

• Harass, impersonate, or attempt to deceive other players;
• Use the App to transmit anything unlawful, harmful, or offensive;
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or exploit bugs in the App for unfair advantage;
• Use automated tools (bots) to interact with the App.

5. No accounts, your data stays on your device

FarmVerse does not use accounts or sign-in. Your progress is stored locally on your device. We are not responsible for lost progress due to uninstalling the App, switching devices, or device failure — there is currently no cloud backup or sync.

6. Intellectual property

FarmVerse, its logo, artwork, and all associated branding are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership of that intellectual property to you.

7. Third-party services

FarmVerse uses Google Play Services (including Nearby Connections and, optionally, in-app update checks) and Firebase Analytics, and may in the future use Google AdMob. Your use of these Google-provided services is also subject to Google's own terms and privacy policies. See our Privacy Policy for details.

8. Disclaimers

FarmVerse is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including (without limitation) implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of bugs. Gameplay numbers, growth timers, and in-game economics are tuned for entertainment and educational value, not as literal real-world agricultural data.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data (including lost gameplay progress), arising out of or related to your use of FarmVerse or this website.

10. Changes to the App or these Terms

We may update, modify, or discontinue features of FarmVerse at any time, and may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the effective date above when we do. Continuing to use FarmVerse after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law
